What is an Agent?

Our description of an Agent is a simple one defined both by law and operating policy. An Agent working for HTM is the "go to" person for the client. The Agent is the confidant, the counselor, the advisor in all things relating to the Players professional life. This includes but is not limited to career counseling, retirement planning, planning for the future after playing, and creating a solid foundation to build a life after hockey which is often in a coaching or another capacity in hockey.

HTM Agents and Staff provide complete player development and career management programs. All HTM players receive the following minimum services from HTM:

1. Custom tailored player marketing plan.

2. Custom designed personal training program from a certified personal trainer.

3. Custom designed player marketing package including, highlight video editing, custom internet presence, print marketing package to be distributed to target team management, career guidance consultation and retirement planning assistance.

Every Player has different needs and goals, and each package is structured according to those individual needs.

Choosing a company to represent you is not like choosing your next baseball cap where "one size fits all", the above services are our minimum services provided. Some players require more, and some require different variables of these services.

HTM works with players in every professional league throughout North America and Europe.

When is the best time to hire an Agent?

This is different for everyone. We believe the best time is when you are sure you are ready to enter the professional realm of the hockey business. DO NOT commit to an Agent until you are certain you want to begin your professional career.

How do I become a client?

Contact us via e-mail and include your resume' or call us. Once we receive that information we will review your resume' and contact you regarding on how and if we believe we can help you. Hockey Talent has Agents in and around every major metropolitan area in the United States, Canada and Europe to ensure that every client receives the personal attention they deserve.

Why doesn't HTM accept everyone?

Sometimes people have unrealistic goals, and unreasonable requests. The Agent, or Company that accepts every player as a client does not have the best interest of the player in mind, building the client list is usually what you find those companies doing.
